It was a fantastic visit and had a Denny's in the parking lot so easy to get breakfast and close to the art district where there is so much to do. We saw an opera, we saw the outdoor sculptures we walked around the goregousbart district and back to the clean motel. We would go again.

First, let me commend the friendly daytime front desk clerk and the fact that this was one of the few Motel 6’s I’ve visited that had free WiFi that actually worked. Now, the bad. - bathroom was filthy with crud on the toilet seat and pubic hair on the shower floor. - room was recently painted and the fumes gave me a headache - garbage was strewn all over the common areas - at night the strip club next door plays thumping bass that you can feel in the rooms until 3am, even during the week (I stayed on a Tuesday). Well, the manager told me it went on until 3am. I moved to the Wingate down the street because this place was intolerable. - shady characters lurking around, and one even barged into my room while I was packing to escape to habitable accommodations. When I went to the desk to ask about the noise and the paint fumes there were two men there. One of them suggested they move me to a room on the other side of the motel. This would have been a welcome gesture, but the other man (who I presume was in charge) overruled him and said that he would not move me to a new room. This conversation happened right on front on me, a paying customer. They had rooms available and the ability address my concerns, but this man simply refused to accommodate me. I have never experienced such callus and inconsiderate behavior by a customer service representative in my life. Motel 6 should be ashamed to have their name attached to this establishment.

I stayed here one night prior to a 4am flight out of Love Field because it was cheap. You get what you pay for. The room reeked of smoke, the mattress was barely more than a cot, and the pillows were like rocks. On the more positive side, the front desk staff was efficient if not overly engaging, and despite the large number of occupants it was more quiet than I would have expected. If I were staying longer the the 7 or so hours to sleep before my flight I would have gone somewhere else. Next time I’ll spend the money to stay somewhere without the stench of cigarettes.

Stayed here night before flight from Dallas Love Field. Front desk check-in was quick and person working front desk was very pleasant. Changed our reservation to give us a cheaper rate. Room was clean and just basic hotel room. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again if flying out of Dallas Love Field.
